Dr. Anam Mehmood is a dedicated researcher in medical psychology with a Ph.D. in Social Medicine and Healthcare Management (Medical Psychology) from Harbin Medical University, China. With a strong academic foundation in clinical and applied psychology, she is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Shenzhen University, working under the supervision of Dr. Liang Zhen. Her research focuses on exploring the neurobiological correlates of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in adolescents, utilizing resting-state fMRI to examine brain connectivity and the role of psychological resilience. This project aims to uncover deeper insights into adolescent mental health, particularly by identifying factors that contribute to psychological resilience and NSSI behaviors. In addition, she has conducted research on the I-PACE model, mobile addiction, depression, schizophrenia, and various other domains in mental health.
